Description
This course is designed for anyone who works within construction or who is likely to disturb materials containing silica dust.

This includes, but is not limited to:
Groundworkers, Bricklayers​, Ceramic/pottery workers​, Coke operatives​, Concrete workers, construction/demolition workers, Digger drivers, Workers in industrial workplaces, who are cutting, grinding or crushing materials containing respirable crystalline silica as part of their job

This course consists of five modules covering the following topics: ​
Module 1 What is Silica ​
Module 2 Health Effects​
Module 3 Why & where is it used​
Module 4 PPE/RPE​
Module 5 Legislation
